How to Pause Watch History on YouTube to Avoid Appearing

There is a way to pause search & watch history for those of you who don't know about this. To do this via the web, you can visit the YouTube site and click on the 'History' option in the three lines in the left hand corner. Then click 'Pause Watch History'.'






For mobile, touch the profile photo, then go to 'Settings', then select' History & Privacy. You can enable 'Pause Watch History' and 'Pause Search History'.

If you want YouTube to recall your viewing history, click on the same settings and touch the selection until the blue color disappears.
